Awww ... shucks! And here I came running to this post thinking that you were going to share your favorites! LOL! How quickly I was reminded that you've just started yours! 
To be honest with you, Kara did all that when we first started our blog. I'm not sure that she has kept up with adding any new plugins and it's just not something I've gotten into. However, it's certainly something I would love to do. Yeah, enough rambling!
I will recommend something I'm enjoying on our blog ... however, it's not necessarily a WordPress plugin ... but something you may want to look into

I have a running list somewhere of my favorite WP plugins, but I'm going to have to find it and make sure it's up to date with the respective url's.
One thing to keep in mind, too, is that some plugins (not often, but occasionally) will conflict with each other and older plugins may not work properly on the most recent version of WP. Usually, that's only because the plugin hadn't been updated.

Well, I'd NEVER take it THAT far, lol! I'll be honest with you, it really wasn't hard at all. Now if something were to go wrong with one of them, I'd have to simply de-activate because I would have no clue where to go from there. But as far as installing them goes, there's nothing to it. I'll be honest with you, one of the reasons I never even gave it a try was because I'm on dial-up and I knew downloading and uploading was invovled and I figured that'd just take me forever (and it didn't) plus I knew I would have to learn which I figured would be like looking at a greek textbook (but it wasn't) and I knew I'd have to bug Kara to take the time to do it with me too (and she didn't mind at all, lol) So, I shouldn't have been the way I was and just gave it a try a long time ago. Next time I won't be so stubborned
But, don't put techno or techie or anything of the likes beside my name because well ... that ain't me! LOL!
Oh and I have to mention boy, was that addicting!!
